SOURCE ☆ First Impressions ★ VISUAL: About 6'1". Dark skin. Long, curly hair that falls just short of being shoulder length. Usually has a fair amount of stubble. Has a plain black eyepatch over his right eye. ★ FASHION: Primarily wears dark clothing - black shirt, black pants, black fingerless gloves, mostly black jacket with red highlights. The back of his jacket has a distinctive spider symbol over an American flag and the shoulder has a patch resembling an ace of spades card with a skull and scythe. Often seen wearing a black bandana with pink polka dots. Wears two sets of bad luck beads. Carries a bright blue ray gun and a matching domino mask. ★ AURAL: Not very talkative. When he speaks, it's generally to say very little in as few words as possible. Tends to speak in a low, quiet voice. ★ OLFACTORY: Smells like dirt and sand and leather. ★ DEMEANOR: Generally stoic and withdrawn. Flat, deadpan features. Only prone to emoting more animatedly around those he trusts. ☆ OOC Permissions ★ BACKTAGGING: I live in the backtag zone always. If I've dropped a thread of ours, it was probably an accident - feel free to give me a poke if that's the case! ★ THREADJACKING: As long as it's fine with all other parties, I'm definitely down for it. ★ FOURTHWALLING: Not a fan of this. I would like to avoid anyone going "woooah you look like that guy from MCR," if possible. ★ CANON PUNCTURE: Would prefer to avoid this as well. ★ OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Not that I expect it to come up, but I don't like playing out transphobia or misgendering ICly. ☆ IC Permissions ★ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Very open and warm with the people he knows and trusts, but not prone to crossing those boundaries with those he doesn't. Also not likely to appreciate over-familiarity from people he doesn't know. ★ HUGGING: See above. He will be considerably more open to being platonically affectionate with younger folks, though - he doesn't like the idea of kids growing up without love in their lives. ★ FLIRTING: He might find it amusing, but he's generally not going to escalate it anywhere past that. ★ SEX: I'm not very interested in this as a player. ★ RELATIONSHIPS: Again, I'm not into playing this in-game. ★ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Sure thing. ★ KILLING: Let's talk about it first. ★ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Nothing of particular note, unless you count the lifelong struggle and associated trauma of living in the post-apocalyptic Californian desert for your entire life. ★ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Again, nothing of note. ★ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Has sustained a certain amount of scarring, wear, and tear from living on the run from a ruthless megacorporation for most of his life. Pretty malnourished, and used to living in harsh conditions. Has become accustomed to what side effects would be associated with deprivation of basic resources such as food and water. ☆ Content Warnings ★ IC OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS/TRIGGERS: A firm distrust and dislike of most things medical, most predominantly medications and pills. Dislikes the color white but primarily in certain contexts. Possesses an innate distrust of authority. ★ OOC CONTENT WARNINGS: Jet Star's canon deals with a suppressive megacorporation that subdues people through use of emotional manipulation, forced drug addiction/drug abuse, and brainwashing. His canon also includes a given amount of gun violence and child endangerment, as Jet was among the group charged with raising and protecting a young girl from said megacorporation. ★ ADDITIONAL NOTES: My interpretation of the Fabulous Killjoys falls very far from the people who portray them. While certain subsections of fandom like to use the world of the Fabulous Killjoys to play out RPF, I personally do not, and prefer to avoid RPF whenever possible. ★ OPT-OUT: None of these topics must come up - that is to say, none of them are so inextricably tied up into Jet's personal history that it would be impossible not to mention them.
